What about the parents?
We believe developing strong links with parents is key so that we can all work together in encouraging The VIllage Kids to put their trust in God by exploring the Bible, then live out their faith and walk with God in their every day living. We recognise that parents have the primary role in teaching their children Bible based truths and knowledge and so we work alongside them in a variety of ways:
Parents Page:
This is an easy way of keeping parents informed of wwhat we are learning each week in TVK. Your child will bring home the Parent Page after attending TVK. The Parent Page will include the main aim of the lesson with some other information for you as parents to follow up with your children during the week (eg memory verse to learn etc), competitions and much more!
Parents and other adults visiting TVK:
We also ask parents and other adults from the church family to come to TVK from time to time to help out, for example with our music or games time and to participate in what goes on!
