What Happens at
The Village Kids?
Where will you find us?
We meet every Sunday morning in Mangotsfield Primary School from 11-12. We start our time with The Village Church and then split off to a different room for our own activities.
What do we do?
Big Crew Kick Off
The Village Kids and The Village Tots kick off our time together. It is here where we introduce the main teaching point of our session. This is done through drama, story telling, games, powerpoint, songs and DVDs.
Small Crews
The Village Tots split off at this point to work on activities age appropriate for them, whilst The Village Kids are put into age groups and in order to consolidate the main point of the session.
A leader works alongside the children encouraging and guiding them. As a group the children alos have opportunity to speak to God.
Big Crew Wrap Up
Finally we wrap up our time together by sharing points learnt and challenges gained. THis is done through the showing of work, quizzes, learning verses from the Bible. Music is also a large part of The Village Kids and each time we meet we learn songs of praise - this is sometimes with our own music band.
